Bell only – or monitored alarm system?
A bell-only system sounds the alarm, but relies on you or a neighbour to call the police. A monitored alarm system is connected to an Alarm Receiving Centre by telephone or radio link. It calls the police and any key holders if there is an attempt to break in.
